Prof. N.B.Rai is the principal of the college. He has years of experience in teaching and managing St. Joseph's College, the best college in Darjeeling. He was vice principal of North Point, St.Joseph's College for 24 years and taught physics at St. Joseph College for 30 years. He has been specially requested to come to Kathmandu to establish and build higher education at Cambridge College to provide quality education. The objective is to provide excellent college for higher studies to the students in Nepal. 2059-2060 (2002/2003) academic session is his 5th year in Kathmandu with Cambridge College.

His Majesty's the King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah studied in St. Joseph's College. Our beloved Late King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah and Late Prince Dhirendra Bir Bikram Shah also studied in the college. The annual magazine of St. Joseph's college has a caption saying His Majesty Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah is best in eloquent.
